Mission
TRAIN TO WIN. CREATE COMMUNITY. LOVE THE GAME.
At St. Albert Wolverines Volleyball Club, we train to win. Every volleyball skills camp will be high intensity and will be focused on individual skill development. Every practice will have a focus and a purpose. Our coaches will provide player-driven instruction by assessing athletes’ specific needs and challenges on a daily basis. This player-centered approach allows the Club to develop athletes’ individual skills while creating team cohesion. Wolverines will work closely with all athletes, ensuring they all grow together as a team. We also strongly encourage our athletes to set personal goals and to hold themselves accountable. We will encourage our team managers to organize events with the participation of parents where all players can bond and get to know one another on and off the court. This new volleyball ‘family’ will focus on teaching respect and camaraderie with one another.
We love the game. We want our players to grow in their love for it, too. High-quality training leads to athletic excellence and paves the way to success on the court. This personal growth and team achievement ignite a player’s passion for the sport. As a community we protect that passion by valuing our players, by respecting them and acknowledging their gifts, by lifting them up when they’re down, and by celebrating their successes. The positive relationships that we nurture at SAW foster feelings of being a part of something bigger than just volleyball – we want to be a SAW family. And we hope our players always look back on their time at SAW with fondness
