This volleyball camp is specifically designed for the inexperienced athlete in mind. Our goal is to train athletes effectively so that they learn the fundamentals of the game from an early age. The  camp focuses on teaching the basic volleyball skills as this is the foundation on which proper development will occur. They will learn the proper techniques for volleying/setting, passing, blocking, serving, hitting, rotation and rules of the game. These young athletes will develop their skills following a building block approach and competitive game play. We focus on technical training with an emphasis on footwork, ball handling and proper positioning on the court. We will also examine some of the offensive and defensive aspects of the game.

St. Albert Wolverines Volleyball Club takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into a fun filled camp. This volleyball camp will incorporate team work and leadership and will run for 8 sessions, 2 hours per session in the City of St. Albert. Our volleyball skills camps are being offered to both male and female athletes. 

There is a two step process that needs to be followed:

1) Register with St. Albert Wolverines Volleyball Club – Please call (780) 991-8653 to register your child.  Once registered, a payment of $150 can be paid to SAW volleyball club via email to anykolyshyn@hotmail.com and you will then move on to step 2.

2) Take out an Alberta Volleyball Membership, which is required (approx. $20), click registration link below. Select RECREATIONAL PLAYER and BLACK GOLD/YELLOWHEAD region when prompted. This will link your child up to our club within the Volleyball Alberta data base.
