about

St Albert Wolverines Volleyball Club runs club teams and seasonal volleyball skills camps for athletes in U12–U15We’re based in St Albert, and we welcome athletes from Edmonton and nearby communities

We care about long-term development, strong fundamentals, and personal accountability. We want athletes who work hard, support their teammates, and make a positive impact beyond the court. Families are involved, expectations are clear, and we pride ourselves on affordable and organized programs. We’re growing each year and plan to add older age groups over time.

U15 Girls Host First-Ever Block Party Invitational

Bright, retro-style graphic for the St. Albert Wolverines “Block Party Tournament.” The design features bold yellow and pink lettering on a blue background, a colourful boombox illustration, and text reading: “All proceeds support the U15 Girls trip to the 2026 Volleyball Canada Nationals.”

This weekend, our U15 Girls team hosted the Wolverines’ first-ever Block Party Invitational, welcoming invited clubs for a full day of volleyball and community.

Hosting an event like this is a meaningful part of athlete development. Beyond matches and results, athletes learn responsibility, leadership, and what it takes to support a well-run volleyball environment.

All proceeds from the tournament support the U15 Girls as they work toward their goal of attending the 2026 Volleyball Canada Nationals.

We’re also grateful to our U15 Boys athletes, who volunteered throughout the day. Helping run an event, supporting teammates, and contributing behind the scenes are all part of building strong teams and a strong club culture.

Thank you to the clubs who joined us and shared the court. We’ll be posting a follow-up update highlighting tournament results and recognitions.

U15 Teams Planning for 2026 Nationals

Our U15 teams are planning to compete at Volleyball Canada Youth Nationals in May 2026, with the U15 Girls travelling to Calgary, AB, and the U15 Boys travelling to Mississauga, On.

To help make this goal possible, teams will be fundraising over the coming months to support travel and related costs. We appreciate the support from our Wolverines community as these athletes work toward representing St Albert on a national stage.
