We are excited to be holding Tryouts in September for U15B, U15G, U13G and U12. More Open Gyms and Tryouts will be held in October and November if teams are not filled. Times and dates will be published here.
As coaches are added to our organization, we will add more dates and times for other age brackets.
Tryout fee and Open Gym fee is $10/event.
Fee will be waived for all returning Wolverine’s athletes from the previous year.
Please adhere to the dates below when registering for Open Gyms and Tryouts. If you register in the wrong age category, Volleyball Alberta will not allow you to participate in their provincial tournaments.

REGISTRATION
Please go to the registration page and follow the directions on how to obtain an Alberta Volleyball Membership. Cost is approx. $21.
Club Volleyball is geared towards the serious athlete who has a passion for the game. We are looking for athletes who are coachable, have a desire to learn and are team players.
Our entire program begins immediately in December and runs right up until the Alberta Provincial Volleyball Tournament (U13) or Canadian Nationals tournaments (U14,U15) taking place in May 2025. These tournaments are an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and represent St. Albert with pride.
We take pride in keeping our fees low and making them affordable for all families. They include the following:
- Coaches registration with Volleyball Canada and Volleyball Alberta
- Weekly training sessions. Our goal is to see all athletes train or play the game of volleyball 3x per week. All practices will take place in the City of St. Albert. We have secured space on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays and Saturdays.
- High Intensity strength training
- Facility rental fees
- All volleyball equipment
- Coaches honorariums and travel expenses to out of town tournaments
- Coaches development and certification
- Club Administration
- All Premier tournament entry fees
- Provincial tournament entry fee
- Nationals tournament entry fee
- Athletes team apparel
- Coaches team apparel
- Team Bonding Events
- Year End Banquet/Party
- Go Youth Club Volleyball League fee (if available) – three week volleyball league in Edmonton (Saville Centre) on Sundays during the month of January
Fees do not include the following:
- Athletes accommodations and travel expenses for out of town tournaments
- Volleyball Alberta membership and upgrade once invited on a team
- Personal gear like shoes and knee pads
