St. Albert Wolverines Volleyball Club will be focusing all of their energy and resources towards their 13U, 14U and 15U female and male teams this year. We will be running one men’s and one women’s 13U and 14U club teams as well as one 15U women’s club team in 2024/2025. Open gym dates and times as well as tryout dates will be posted shortly. Space is limited and dates to register will be removed once the sessions are full.

Athletes will need to obtain a Volleyball Alberta membership as a 2025 Youth Development Player – Tryout role (valid Sept 1 – Aug 31) and pay a non-refundable fee of $21.81. This will allow the athlete to tryout or attend any Open Gym for any club across Alberta. 

There is a two step process to attend an Open Gym or a Tryout with the St. Albert Wolverines Volleyball Club.

Step 1:

Begin the registration process by clicking on the following link . How To Register – Volleyball Alberta and either:

A. Tryout participants (members exploring multiple clubs) should purchase their tryout membership in Volleyball Alberta Membership Portal and print/forward a copy of their registration confirmation to show as proof of registration at each club tryout. Once invited on a club team, the athlete will need to DUAL their membership to add their profile, waivers, membership and screening disclosure form* in your club portal in an ACTIVE status so that you may add them to Roster Sheets (Official Team Rosters).

Or

B. Athletes can register directly to St. Albert Wolverines Volleyball club by clicking the portal “Register To Your Club” and selecting St. Albert Wolverines. When a member registers this way, they will become ACTIVE members in the Club, Volleyball Alberta & Volleyball Canada portals.

Step 2:

Complete the REGISTRATION form below and select which Tryout dates or Open Gyms you plan to attend. There is a $10 fee to attend each 

Please see below for further instructions once you have received an offer from the Wolverines Volleyball Club to join one of their teams.

Once you have received an offer, have accepted that offer and have forwarded back to the club a signed Letter of Intent with payment, the member will need to log in to their Sportlomo User Account and DUAL their active member id > upgrade/add category: Competitive Player > from Volleyball Alberta Membership to their Club. This additional fee to upgrade your membership to 2025 Youth Competitive Player – Indoor is the responsibility of the athlete and will cost $117.78.

Once selected to a team you do not have to attend the remaining tryouts. However, we encourage you to bring your son/daughter to all tryouts in an effort to get to know the coaches and players quicker.

Expect to receive practice schedules and programming for the year from the coaches shortly after returning your Letter of Intent.
